Thank You for considering how you can volunteer on behalf of NeighborLink and those requesting assistance.

There are two categories of Volunteers at NeighborLink. Before registering on the website, please read over the two options and then choose how you would like to register.

Regular Volunteer
A regular volunteer is someone who simply wants to volunteer for projects already being organized and would like to stay up to date on opportunities to serve via the website and the email. Regular Volunteers can only see projects being organized by Coaches and use the website to sign up for those projects. Regular Volunteers will also be able to see the full list of pending projects, but only Coaches have the access to that information.

Coaches
Coaches are the key to our organization. Coaches are the ones who have access to the pending project list and the contact names of the recipients, and who choose the projects that are to be completed.

The biggest difference between just a Regular Volunteer and a Coach is the level of commitment that one is willing to make to NeighborLink and to the Recipient. There are no expectations to take a certain number of projects or even lead others. The only expectation is that once you select a project and make a connection directly with a recipient, you would follow through and make sure the project is completed.
